Former Duke golf standout Kevin Streelman finished in the middle of the pack at the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek.
It was an even weekend, literally, for former Duke Blue Devil Kevin Streelman at the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek as he finished T-21 in the event.
Following a four-under and two-under round on Thursday and Friday, respectively, Streelman finished his weekend at even par on Saturday and Sunday to cap his six-under.
Streelman finished alongside Sergio Garcia, Robby Shelton, Danny Lee, Harry Higgs, Hideki Matsuyama, and Rory McIlroy.
Kevin Streelman was struggling mightily on Saturday before a strong close to the round helped him get to even par for the day as he was sitting at two-over following a double bogey on No. 15 but a birdie at No. 16, a par at No. 17, and a birdie at No. 18 helped the Blue Devil get to the clubhouse at even par for the day.

Sunday was a much more calm round for the 41-year-old as he was as low as two-under for the round, but bogeys on No. 12 and No. 15 brought him down to even as he parred the last three holes of his week.
Kevin Streelman brings home $92K for his placing in the event.
Former Blue Devil Adam Long was also in the event, and his week was one to forget as he was fourth-to-last in the 75-man field.
Long finished at 12-over for the event, only better than Jason Day, who withdrew early on Sunday, Sung Kang, Alex Noren, and Tae Hee Lee.

Even par at Shadow Creek is 72, and Long put two 72’s together on Friday and Saturday, but a pair of 78’s on Friday and Sunday sunk the Dukie in the tournament.
Long is awarded $16K for his 74th finish.
The CJ Cup was won by Jason Kokrak at 20-under over Xander Schauffele at 18-under.
Kevin Streelman and Adam Long will both play in the Zozo Championship at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, where Tiger Woods will look to defend his title.
