A kickoff time has been set for the Duke football program’s battle with the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The ACC has announced a start time and a network for the Duke vs. Virginia Tech game scheduled in two weeks as the two teams will meet at Wallace Wade Stadium.

A late afternoon backdrop in Durham, North Carolina will be the setting for this 4:00pm EST kickoff on the ACC Network, but work is to be done for both teams ahead of their showdown, in which the Hokies will be looking for revenge.

Duke will be traveling to the state of Virginia to face the Cavaliers before playing Virginia Tech.

The Blue Devils and Virginia will also be playing at 4:00pm EST at Scott Stadium on Saturday, September 26.

Prior to playing David Cutcliffe, Justin Fuente and the Hokies will open their season against the North Carolina State Wolfpack at Lane Stadium, but Fuente is still leaving the door open that the Hokies will not have enough players to take the field.

In his most recent media availability, the head coach of Virginia Tech said that he hopes his team is able to play the Wolfpack after their game this weekend against Virginia had to be postponed because of a COVID-19 outbreak within the football program.

Because of the outbreak, Duke’s game with Virginia was moved up from October 24 to this upcoming Saturday so that the Cavaliers would not go four weeks from playing a game while the rest of the conference is pushing through its schedule.

As the Blue Devils continue to struggle on the field, Duke should not yet even be thinking about the Hokies as the Virginia Cavaliers have been sitting around for two weeks getting ready to finally take the field and hit someone other than their teammates.
