Unfortunately for Jack Wohlabaugh, the redshirt senior has been ruled out indefinitely after suffering an ACL injury last week as it looks like that will keep him sidelined for the entire 2020 season.
Deon Jackson is entering his senior season with the Blue Devils after rushing for 641 yards and six touchdowns last season in addition to 21 receptions for 192 yards and two touchdowns.
Noah Gray is also entering his senior season, and he’s coming off his best season in Durham, playing 12 games and hauling in 51 receptions for 392 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. He continues to be one of the most reliable pass catchers on the team.
The last senior that was named as a captain of the Blue Devils is Michael Carter II, and the safety recorded one interception, seven passes defended, and 53 total tackles last season.

Chris Rumph II is expected to be one of the best pass rushers in the nation this season following 6.5 sacks last season to go along with 47 total tackles, including 13.5 for a loss, as just a sophomore.
David Cutcliffe also announced on Monday that Clemson transfer quarterback Chase Brice would be the starter for the Blue Devils in Week 1 against Notre Dame.
