The projected 2021-22 Duke basketball players: Patrick Baldwin Jr.

F. Scouting Report. 6-foot-10. 205 pounds. 434. Pick Analysis. Patrick Baldwin Jr.. player

  • Peak composite ranking for Patrick Baldwin Jr. in high school: No. 1
  • Current status: Yet to commit, but Blue Devils are longtime favorites
  • In 2021-22: Would be a Duke basketball freshman
  • Date of birth: Nov. 18, 2002

Based on the fact that Mike Krzyzewski has never extended an offer to anyone earlier in their prep career than the one more than two years ago now to Hamilton (Wis.) small forward Patrick Baldwin Jr., it could be that the Hall of Famer has never wished for any five-star more than the 6-foot-10, 205-pound phenom. That would make sense when viewing the prospect’s mixtapes.

Now, all Coach K has to do is wrap up his pursuit to ensure Baldwin Jr. puts the cherry on top of his 2021-22 roster. While Duke is in his top 10 and has even been the 247Sports Crystal Ball leader from Day One, Patrick Baldwin Sr. is a bonafide threat in the race as the head coach at Wisconsin-Milwaukee; despite that, the prediction remains here for his son to join #TheBrotherhood.
