The projected 2021-22 Duke basketball players: Henry Coleman

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 434. player. 6-foot-8. 240 pounds. Henry Coleman. F

  • Peak composite ranking for Henry Coleman in high school: No. 36
  • Current status: Set to debut as a Blue Devil in the upcoming season
  • In 2021-22: Would be a Duke basketball sophomore
  • Date of birth: May 8, 2002

No offense to Henry Coleman, but he is probably the most definite of his 2020 Blue Devil peers to call Durham home for two or more years. And that’s primarily because his repertoire is a bit more limited than that of Jalen Johnson, Jaemyn Brakefield, DJ Steward, Mark Williams, or Jeremy Roach. On the flip side, the 6-foot-8 power forward has already shown signs of being the hardest worker.

After bulking up the past year to his current 240 pounds — next to zero body fat, judging from his most recent highlights and pics — there’s now no telling just how strong Coleman might become by the time the 2021-22 season tips off. All in all, taking into account his obvious high IQ and notable hustle on the floor, he could be the team’s second center as a sophomore.
