4. player. 442. Scouting Report. 2015-16. Cat Barber. Pick Analysis. Junior

A second player from Tobacco Road gives us the fourth-best season of the last decade. Anthony “Cat” Barber nearly doubled his points per game average from his sophomore to junior years in Raleigh.

The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 23.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game for the North Carolina State Wolfpack during the 2015-16 season. Those impressive metrics totaled 39.4 fantasy points per game for the year. Barber’s 776 total points were good enough for second in the conference and sixth in the nation.

The Newport News, Va., native was selected to the All-ACC First Team at the conclusion of his third and final season in PNC Arena. After four consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament, Barber’s final Wolfpack team finished just 16-17 overall and 5-13 in conference play. Barber then went unselected in the 2016 NBA Draft and has not yet appeared in a game for an NBA team.
