Sign that Duke basketball product Cassius Stanley should shine: INTANGIBLES

Another attribute that will help Cassius Stanley at the next level is his rebounding. As a freshman starter in Durham, he was responsible for some awesome tip dunks, but he also showed the ability to get on the defensive glass.

Stanley’s rebounding ability will be a real asset for him as he goes onto the NBA. As teams go smaller and play lineups with four and even five guards, having guards who can rebound is not only beneficial but necessary.

Another one of the most impressive aspects of Stanley’s game was his fire and passion for the game. It seemed like he was a true competitor and a guy who always brought great energy and enthusiasm to the court. He loved to scream after a big play and hype up his teammates after they did something positive.

He seemed like a great teammate and a guy everyone would enjoy playing with. His father is a sports agent, and he has been around professionals his whole life. So I don’t think the adjustment to becoming a professional will be too difficult for Cassius Stanley.
