As a Duke basketball senior in 2015, Quinn Cook showed what the 2017-18 Golden State Warriors later enjoyed from the 6-foot-1, 180-pound guard: championship-level leadership. Sure, the 27-year-old has averaged a mere 4.8 points across 10.8 minutes in his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Yet his friendly presence, not to mention hints in scrimmages of increased playing time due to Rajon Rondo’s absence, might be an underrated component to a top title contender.
