Jahlil Okafor hasn’t always been part of the rotation for the New Orleans Pelicans this season, but he has averaged 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 28 appearances. However, with Derrick Favors and fellow ACC Player of the Year Zion Williamson both healthy, the 6-foot-10, 275-pound big man’s minutes could be on the fritz. Yet in only 10 minutes in the team’s first scrimmage last week, the 2015 Duke basketball champ scored 10 points, proving to be a potentially potent backup.
