In terms of a reliable hot hand, few top that of all-time Duke basketball points leader JJ Redick. Even at age 36, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound sniper shows no sign of cooling. Not only has he averaged 14.9 points while draining 45.2 percent from downtown, but also as a first-year New Orleans Pelicans guard, he was on fire as recently as a Monday night scrimmage, scoring 20 points in one quarter on 5-for-5 shooting, including 4-for-4 from deep, and 6-for-6 from the foul line.
