Like Jabari Parker, 2011-12 Duke basketball one-and-done Austin Rivers hasn’t been in the bubble the entire time. But the 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard’s brief absence was due to a private family matter rather than his own health. The Winter Park native is back now, though, in the same gyms he regularly ruled in his youth. Contributing a consistent 8.5 points off the bench for the legit-threat Houston Rockets this season, the soon-to-be 28-year-old is sure to be part of the plans.
