Duke basketball: Top 10 individual fantasy seasons under Coach K
Top Duke basketball fantasy players since 1981: Shelden Williams, 2005-06
Shelden Williams came up short of a national title as Duke basketball big man. But “The Landlord” did see his No. 23 rise to the Cameron Indoor Stadium rafters after spending four years in Durham while becoming the program’s all-time rebounder and shot-blocker.
Like Marvin Bagley did more than a decade later, Williams also scored 40.1 fantasy points per game by this metric, though with fewer points per game (18.8), rebounds per game (10.7), and assists per game (1.1) than his Duke contemporary.
However, Williams grabbed 1.7 steals per game, dominated the paint with 3.8 blocks per game (tops on this list), and committed just 2.5 turnovers per game.
