Top Duke basketball fantasy players since 1981: Christian Laettner, 1991-92

434. Pick Analysis. 1991-92. Christian Laettner. 9. Scouting Report. Senior. player

Just ahead of “Jay Will” at No. 9 is Duke All-American Christian Laettner. During the 1991-92 season, which capped off back-to-back national titles for the Blue Devils, the Associated Press Player of the Year notched 37.1 fantasy points per game for his value.

Of course, if “clutch” points were part of the equation here, we all know Laettner would sit much closer to the top of this list.

As it is, though, “Laett” averaged 21.5 points per game, 7.9 boards per game, and 2.0 assists per game. To those impressive numbers, the big man out of New York added 2.1 steals per game, 0.9 blocks per game, and 3.3 turnovers per game.
