Duke basketball: Top 10 individual fantasy seasons under Coach K
Top Duke basketball fantasy players since 1981: Jay Williams, 2000-01
At No. 10 — and the only guard on the list of the best Duke statistical single seasons under Mike Krzyzewski — is a two-time consensus All-American and 2001-02 Naismith Player of the Year Jay Williams.
At the conclusion of the 2000-01 season in Durham, Williams had notched what is now the 10th best statistical season of the Coach K era. The point guard, who took home NABC Player of the Year as a sophomore while helping to lead the Blue Devils to a national title, averaged 21.6 points per game while adding 3.3 rebounds per game and 6.1 assists per game that season.
To those metrics, Williams added 2.0 steals, 0.1 blocks, and 3.9 turnovers per game. The total value of his season was 37.0 fantasy points, more than two points higher than fellow guard Grayson Allen in 2015-2016.
