The Duke football program recently extended an offer to three-star running back Roman Hemby.
David Cutcliffe and the Duke football program were back on the recruiting trail recently after extending an offer to Roman Hemby, a three-star prospect out of Bel Air, Maryland.
Hemby stars at John Carroll School, and despite being listed on many recruiting sites as an athlete, he lists himself as a running back on his social media pages.

The 6-foot, 195-pound tailback is listed as the No. 1,703 recruit in the Class of 2021, No. 113 running back, and No. 46 recruit in the state of Maryland, according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
Duke offered the prospect on June 30 along with the Indiana Hoosiers, and Hemby also holds offers from Boston College, Maryland, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Temple, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest, and West Virginia, among others.
Roman Hemby also has gathered interest from North Carolina and North Carolina State, but he has not received offers from either ACC rival.
At The Opening Regional held in mid-May of 2019, Hemby went though drills very similar to that of an NFL Draft Combine and ran a 4.67 40-Yard Dash, 4.28 Shuttle Run, and had a Vertical of 31.80 inches.
Not only does the three-star running back star on the field, but he is also a star in the classroom as he tweeted that he earned A’s for his entire junior year and was accepted into the National Society of High School Scholars.
