Duke basketball stars who could’ve starred in football: WR RJ Barrett

If not for the existence of Zion Williamson on the 2018-19 Duke basketball team, we’d all have talked about the assertive flight paths of RJ Barrett much more often. Not only is the New York Knicks rookie guard a supreme athlete, but he also totes around an alpha-male mentality, altogether painting the picture of an elite wide receiver had he chosen such a career path.

Furthermore, as one can see in the above mixtape, Barrett employs strong hands and takes decisive steps, which would bode well for the Canadian lefty when darting down sidelines against cornerbacks on the lookout for deep heaves from the quarterback.
