Duke basketball stars who could’ve starred in football: SL Chris Duhon

Overlapping with the two-season Duke basketball career of Dahntay Jones were the four years of speedy point guard Chris Duhon. Watching the 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of Slidell, La., slither and slide his way through defenses as a college hoopster sparks visions of a tough-to-contain slot receiver.

On top of his quick feet and flowing running style, Duhon essentially risked a concussion and broken limbs every time he stepped foot on the floor by diving headfirst into crowds and basically belly-flopping on the hardwood in pursuit of loose balls. By jetting around and hardly breaking a sweat, the kid could have carved up defenses on the gridiron.
