The Duke football program made the Top-10 finalists for a Class of 2021 offensive lineman with an elite nickname and an aggressive style of play.

Perhaps the prospect with the best nickname in the Class of 2021 released his Top-10 schools this week, and the 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive lineman included the Duke football program.

Almarion Crim, also known as ‘Big Crim’ according to his Twitter name, is coming to an end in his recruitment after naming Louisville, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee, Southern Mississippi. Virginia Tech, Florida Atlantic, Tulsa, Southern Florida, and Georgia Tech to his Top-10 along with the Blue Devils.

In his tweet revealing his Top-10 schools, Crim made it known that his recruitment is still open and could add more schools to his list should they offer him a scholarship.

Crim is ranked as the No. 1,540 recruit in the junior class, according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, as well as the No. 136 offensive tackle and No. 60 player in the state of Alabama.

An Adamsville, Alabama native, Crim is a standout offensive lineman at Minor High School who has amassed over 20 offers in his high school career.

Recruiting experts and analysts think that Duke, Virginia Tech, and Louisville are the frontrunners for the three-star prospect after the Blue Devils offered the tackle on May 4 along with 17 other programs, according to 247 Sports.

Duke currently has 11 players committed in its 2021 recruiting class, but only one offensive tackle,  three-star prospect Andrew Jones.

Cutcliffe’s next class is split between six defensive players and five offensive weapons and is ranked as the No. 37 class in the nation and No. 11 in the ACC.
