Top 10 impact players for the 2020 Duke football team: RB Deon Jackson
Throughout his time at Duke, Deon Jackson has quietly become one of the best running backs in the ACC. While his number of rushes from 2018 increased, his rushing yards saw a small decline in 2019. This past season saw him post six touchdowns and 641 rushing yards out of the backfield.
Jackson will be yet another player greatly affected by Brittain Brown’s exit. The senior will have a chance to take true possession of the RB1 spot. Mataeo Durant is an upcoming talent who will push Jackson to be even better, which can only be a positive for the Blue Devils.
This senior season will likely determine the fate of the professional career for Deon Jackson. All eyes will be on the Atlanta native as he looks to prove his worth as a star rushing threat.
