Top 10 impact players for the 2020 Duke football team: TE Noah Gray
The impact of senior Noah Gray goes far behind his presence as a tight end for the Blue Devils. He is a leader both on and off the field, serving as an unofficial team barber, giving his teammates fresh cuts.
While he is a leader off the field, he is certainly one on the field too. Gray experienced his true breakout year in 2019, playing in all 12 games and reeling in a career-high 51 receptions. He would go on to score three touchdowns, two of them coming in Duke’s rout of Virginia Tech.
Noah Gray’s experience and influence only add to the bright potential of Duke’s young and upcoming receiving corps. Look for the Massachusetts product to be a threat in the passing game, while also giving the quarterback time in the pocket to make plays. It’s safe to say that Duke’s quarterback and young receivers will undoubtedly be in good hands thanks to the efforts of No. 87.
