The Duke football team extended an offer to Class of 2022 wide receiver Andre Greene Jr., who has many teams interested in him.

David Cutcliffe and his Duke football staff are continuing their pursuit of top prospects in the Class of 2022 after extending an offer to wide receiver Andre Greene Jr.

Greene Jr., a Richmond, Virginia native, is a standout at Saint Christopher’s High School but does not have a ranking via 247 Sports as of yet as the site has not fully ranked nor scouted the rising junior class because of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the skilled wide receiver has racked in many offers as of late, with scholarships from Auburn, Louisiana State, Oregon, Kansas, Tennessee, Southern California, and Texas in the last month.

Greene Jr. also holds offers from Arizona State, Florida State, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia, among others.

Duke does not have a commit in the Class of 2022 yet, but the Blue Devils have extended offers to seven wide receivers in the sophomore class, and none have pledged their allegiance to another program yet.

Two wide receivers have committed to Duke in the Class of 2021, Trent Broadnax and Sahmir Hagans, while David Cutcliffe also has athlete Jordan Moore under wraps.

The Blue Devils are bringing in the No. 62 recruiting class in the country for the Class of 2020 and the No. 36 class in the nation for 2021; however, Duke has stiff competition in the ACC with the 12th- and ninth-best classes, respectively.

It shouldn’t be too long before David Cutcliffe and the Duke Blue Devils land their first big prospect in the Class of 2022.
