Ranking haters of Duke basketball greatness: No. 10 Louisville

Against Mike Krzyzewski, Louisville had the first laugh: a 3-0 start, including a win at the 1986 National Championship Game. And the Cardinals have what is currently the last laugh: a 79-73 win in Durham this past season.

Furthermore, Coach K’s overall record versus the Cardinals is now 6-7 (correction, 6-6, almost forgot about the vacated wins). Nevertheless, ever since 1986, he’s lost only four compared to six wins, including the oh-so-sweet 2019 one that required a 23-point comeback across the final nine minutes in Louisville.

Plus, look at this way: Coach K has five more national titles than Louisville from 1987 to the present, unless we’re counting the one from the Cardinals in 2013 that the NCAA now refuses to count.
