9. Michigan

After Patrick Baldwin Jr. announced his top 10, Maize N Brew Michigan insider Von Lozon chimed in with his take on the likelihood that head coach Juwan Howard, who quickly gained respect on the recruiting trail in his first year on the job, actually wins the battle:

“This recruitment is still an uphill climb for Howard and company…Still, it’s good to see Howard is still going toe-to-toe with these blueblood programs for the best prospects in the country. Eventually, he will get one of those five-star guys to come to Ann Arbor.”

That’s hardly a vote of confidence in the Wolverines, who delivered their offer to Baldwin Jr. last summer. And GBM Wolverine site expert Chris Peterson offered a more critical view of the situation:

“It will be interesting to see if Michigan hangs around in the mix, but if there isn’t a realistic hope of landing him, time would be better spent elsewhere…Baldwin doesn’t seem like a possibility…”

Looks like a TWO PERCENT CHANCE the Michigan Wolverines land Patrick Baldwin Jr.
