7. UCLA

Like others before it on this ranking, UCLA does not seem like a legit contender for Patrick Baldwin Jr., and there has been no word of a heightened pursuit on the part of the recruiters in Los Angeles. On the other hand, the Bruins have a promising future after going 19-12 in the first year under former Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin.

Though the 48-year-old has yet to light up the recruiting trail, he has landed one player among the top 50 on the 247Sports 2021 Composite in Bishop Gorman (Nev.) four-star shooting guard Will McLendon. Cronin could try to sell Baldwin Jr. on the idea of joining McLendon and becoming the face of a storied program’s return to the national spotlight.

Looks like a FOUR PERCENT CHANCE the UCLA Bruins land Patrick Baldwin Jr.
