Duke football: David Cutcliffe hands out offers to vital recruits
The Duke football coaching staff is staying busy during the coronavirus pandemic as David Cutcliffe has awarded a handful of scholarships to important recruits.
While recruits are unable to visit Wallace Wade Stadium and the Duke football facilities, head coach David Cutcliffe and his staff are hard at work trying to land the next best Blue Devils.
Spring practice has been put on hold because of COVID-19, but that doesn’t mean recruiting visits have stopped as the staff turns to virtual meetings and visits.

Cutcliffe has recently extended three offers to potential Blue Devils, although one has already committed to a different Power-Five school.
Noah Biglow, a cornerback from Florida, gave a verbal commitment to Iowa State back on April 16 but has since received an offer from the Blue Devils on April 30.
The 6-foot defensive back also holds offers from Virginia, Washington State, and Army along with others.
Biglow is ranked as the No. 1,005 recruit, according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, and the No. 86 cornerback in the Class of 2020.
David Cutcliffe also offered Class of 2021 offensive tackle Jacoby Jackson back on April 29.
The three-star Texas native is ranked as the No. 896 recruit in his class, the No. 78 offensive tackle, and the No. 140 recruit in the football hearty state of Texas.
Standing at 6-foot-5, 306 pounds, Jackson is also holding offers from major football schools like Arizona, Baylor, California, and Mississippi State, just to name a few.

The Blue Devils also offered Class of 2022 dual-threat quarterback Devin Farrell, who also plays cornerback at Milton High School in Georgia.
There are currently no rankings for the Class of 2022 in the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, but the Blue Devils are currently in a recruiting battle as the 5-foot-11 athlete also holds offers from ACC foes Georgia Tech and Wake Forest.

Texas A&M is also showing interest in Farrell.
Expect David Cutcliffe and the Blue Devils to remain very active on the recruiting trail during this unprecedented time in college football.
