Marvin Bagley III had potential that captured the attention of basketball fans everywhere. From his dominant play in high school to going toe-to-toe with NBA players in the Drew League, fans were excited to see the Duke basketball commit on the big stage. He was the No.1 ranked player in the class of 2017 and rated as an absurd 0.9999 recruit by 247Sports.

At Sierra Canyon (Calif.), Bagley was a man among boys. In his senior year, he averaged 24.6 points per game, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks. He was already being projected as the No.1 pick in the 2018 NBA draft, so expectations were high for the young stud during his time as a Blue Devil.

In his one season as a Duke basketball player, Bagley recorded averages of 21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds while shooting 61.4 percent from the field. After earning many accolades such as All-ACC first team and All-American first team, he declared for the 2018 NBA Draft, in which he was selected No. 2 overall by the Sacramento Kings.
