THE SEASON SYNOPSIS
This version of the Blue Devils had less total talent than its 13-18 predecessor. A knee injury forced Trajan Langdon to redshirt what would have been his sophomore campaign (so we don’t count him in the grading below). Cherokee Parks had graduated.
Yet Coach K was back. Chris Collins bounced back — and then some — from an ice-cold junior year. The fire was there. And a five-game win streak to close out February gave Duke basketball faithful hope for March; unfortunately, an 0-3 record from that point forward dashed it.
