THE SEASON SYNOPSIS

The trio of Kyle Singler, Gerald Henderson, and Jon Scheyer was better than most. But the group was still waiting on Nolan Smith to step into a starring role. And it didn’t help that Greg Paulus had all but disappeared as a senior.

An ACC Tournament title, which had become almost automatic for the Blue Devils during the decade, was sweet; however, a 23-point loss to Villanova in the Sweet 16 was sour.
