THE SEASON SYNOPSIS
This ranking is neither fair to the 2019-20 Duke basketball team nor the 39 other teams. We don’t know what was in store. We only know how it ended: a beautiful win on Senior Night to sweep the season series over North Carolina. In terms of beating Tar Heels, no other squad did so in a sweeter fashion.
Overall, though, the team might have lacked the experience to get the job done in the postseason; of course, even that is unfair to say given that the Blue Devils had no chance to say otherwise.
