Joe Bamisile is a super talented 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard heading to Virginia Tech this fall. According to the 247Sports 2020 Composite, the Monacan High (Va.) recruit is ranked as the No. 70 recruit nationally and No. 5 in the state of Virginia.
The four-star newcomer, who is likely to be a top contributor for the Hokies on both ends of the floor, runs the court extremely well and can finish among taller rim protectors. Bamisile has proven to be a very long and athletic defender in high school. In Blacksburg next season, his height and length may cause problems in the backcourt for Duke’s smaller guards.
