Top threat to Duke basketball from each ACC foe next season

The 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward is a rebounding machine. For his career at Boston College, Steffon Mitchell is averaging more than eight rebounds per game and seven rebounds per game in four games against the Duke basketball program. Plus, he led the ACC in steals last season with 68.

Mitchell may present problems inside if sophomore forward Matthew Hurt is tabbed defensively to stop him. Some combination of graduate transfer Patrick Tape and newcomers Jalen Johnson or Henry Coleman may be asked to guard the Boston College senior. All three have the size and athleticism but may lack the experience to match up against the Eagle’s power forward.
