435. Scottie Barnes. 6-8, 210. Freshman. F. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

According to the 247Sports 2020 Composite rankings, Scottie Barnes is the No. 6 recruit in the country. The five-star power forward from Montverde Academy (Fla.) has size at 6-foot-8 and 210 pounds to go along with supreme athleticism. He also has good range on his shot and runs the floor extremely well.

Perhaps Barnes’ best asset is his ability to finish through contact around the rim. He is similar in size and skillset to Duke basketball signee Jalen Johnson, whom the 247Sports 2020 Composite has ranked as the No. 11 recruit in the country.

If Barnes can best Johnson in Tallahassee next season, then Duke may very well go 0-for-2 in the Sunshine State.
