Miami’s 7-footer averaged just 7.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest during his junior season. However, Rodney Miller recorded his best game of the season against the Blue Devils in the Hurricanes’ loss to Duke in Durham last January.
The Miami center had his only double-double of the year, grabbing 13 rebounds to compliment his 13 points. If Miller repeats that performance in Coral Gables next season during the two team’s lone scheduled meeting of the season, the Blue Devils may not escape the state of Florida with a win.
