The 6-5, 205-pound guard from Raleigh torched the Blue Devils’ defense twice last season. Devon Daniels, who will go through the 2020 NBA Draft process but is likely to return to North Carolina State for his senior campaign, scored 25 points and added nine boards in the win over Duke at home and recorded 14 points and another nine rebounds in a losing cause in Durham.

The Wolfpack’s presumptive second-leading returning scorer shot exactly 50 percent from the field, making 14 of 28 shots in the two contests against Duke. If Daniels does not pursue his NBA dreams and returns to Raleigh, he is likely to cause problems for the inexperienced Blue Devils’ backcourt.
