The Lady Blue Devils picked up a major victory at home over the No. 14 Florida State Seminoles as the Duke basketball team is looking to bolster its postseason resume.
Duke had not defeated a ranked opponent in thirteen consecutive attempts. That all changed on Sunday afternoon when the Lady Blue Devils toppled the No. 14 Florida State Seminoles in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Winners of eight of its last ten and four games in a row, Duke is in prime position for an NCAA Tournament berth with four games remaining in the regular season followed by the ACC Tournament.

Odom also played all 40 minutes for head coach Joanne P. MCallie.
Jade Williams was the only other Blue Devil in double-figures with ten points, three rebounds, and four assists on the afternoon.
Despite going just 3-of-16 from 3-point range, Duke did all of the other things in a game to pull out a win by converting 17-of-20 attempts from the free throw line and only sending Florida State to the charity stripe nine times.
The Lady Blue Devils out-rebounded the Seminoles 35-28 but committed three more turnovers than its opponent.
Duke will have its senior night very early this season as only one home game remains on the schedule on Thursday, February 20 against the Virginia Cavaliers as the Lady Blue Devils finish the regular season with three road games against North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina.
