Across a recent 11-game stretch, starting with a career-high 30-point outing on Jan. 18, Gary Trent Jr. scorched nets to the tune of 14.6 points per game and a 34-for-71 (47.8 percent) 3-point clip. As was often the case during his one-season stay in Durham, the 6-foot-5, 210-pound former five-star Minnesotan isn’t shy about putting on shooting clinics.

Had the namesake of a former nine-year NBA veteran not entered the All-Star break with back-to-back ho-hum boxscores, he likely would have landed a notch or two higher on this list. After all, shooting numbers like those above are hard to ignore from a mere 21-year-old.
