Jabari Parker, who was part of a recent trade that sent him from Atlanta to Sacramento,  hasn’t reached the expectations that came with landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated as a prep. But the 24-year-old Chicago native also hasn’t been a bust. Something in between. A 6-foot-8, 245-pound regular contributor with a nice mix of abilities in the paint and on the perimeter.

Frequent injuries haven’t helped the former Duke basketball one-and-done. And a shoulder impingement has sidelined Parker since early January. After he returns — which appears to be soon, but there is no announced date — he’ll likely eventually compete for minutes with two other members of #TheBrotherhood in Harry Giles and Marvin Bagley III (when they too are healthy, of course).
