Several former Duke basketball players celebrated the Blue Devils buzzer beater victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday night.

In miraculous fashion, the Duke Blue Devils defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday night thanks to a Tre Jones buzzer beater to send the game to overtime and a Wendell Moore buzzer beater to break the tie and give Duke the win in overtime, 98-96.

After the victory, social media posts and videos surfaced of former Blue Devils who took great joy in Duke’s jaw-dropping victory.

Tyus Jones, the Duke basketball legend in his own right, couldn’t help but feel pride for his former team getting a win over its heated rival but his little brother leading the charge.

Jones’ Memphis Grizzlies teammates, Grayson Allen and Justise Winslow also couldn’t help themselves when it came to social media.

Perhaps the best reaction came from Sacramento when former Blue Devils Harry Giles and Jabari Parker went wild in their locker room watching the final seconds of Duke’s win.

Giles even took to his own Twitter account to share his feelings after the win.

Gary Trent Jr., Andre Dawkins, and Jayson Tatum also showed their outpouring of love for the Blue Devils victory.

Zion Williamson took his thoughts to his Instagram story in which he congratulated Jones and Moore for their efforts in Saturday night’s game.

Cam Reddish also congratulated his former teammate in Jones on his Instagram story while several other former Blue Devils commented on the official Duke Men’s Basketball Instagram page, including Austin Rivers, who hit a game winning buzzer beater to take down North Carolina exactly eight years ago from Saturday.

Duke will enjoy this one until Sunday as the Blue Devils must refocus itself to play the No. 8 Florida State Seminoles on Monday night in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
