Duke basketball remains in Top-10 of AP Top-25 Poll after winless week
The Duke basketball team remained in the Top-10 of the Associated Press Top-25 Poll after a winless week against Clemson and Louisville.
It was not a great week for the Duke basketball team, losing both of its games on the road against the Clemson Tigers and at home to the then No. 11 Louisville Cardinals.
Duke entered the week at No. 3 in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll but after its winless two games, the Blue Devils have dropped to No. 8 in the poll.

In both games, Duke did not start well and rallied to take a lead against Clemson and tie the game against Louisville, but in the end, the Blue Devils did not have enough gas in the tank to close out both games.
Much like this entire season, last week was a wild one in the world of college basketball as there was a complete shakeup in the Top-25.
The Baylor Bears jumped the Gonzaga Bulldogs as the No. 1 team in the country while the Kansas Jayhawks slide up and replace the Blue Devils at No. 3.
San Diego State, the lone undefeated in college basketball, is ranked at No. 4 while the Florida State Seminoles round out the Top-5.
The aforementioned Louisville Cardinals moved up to No. 6 after its win over Duke, as the Seminoles defeated the Cards earlier in the year in Kentucky while the Dayton Flyers are the only other team ranked ahead of the Blue Devils at No. 7.
Two Big East teams, the Villanova Wildcats and Seton Hall Pirates are ranked at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively, to round out the Top-10 this week.
Relatively speaking, the No. 8 Duke Blue Devils will have an easy week, only playing one game at home against the Miami Hurricanes, a team the Blue Devils defeated by 33 points back on January 4, although Duke had the services of Wendell Moore in the contest.
The Blue Devils still control its own destiny in terms of getting a No. 1 seed in the ACC and NCAA Tournaments, but Duke has some things to iron out before the team can think about that.
