The Duke Basketball team didn’t see any movement in its Associated Press Top-25 ranking despite winning its game and seeing some chaos at the top of the poll.

Another week in college basketball has passed by and yet another No. 1 team lost.

The Kansas Jayhawks fell on the road against the Villanova Wildcats on Saturday afternoon, causing yet another shake up in the Top-5 of the Associated Press Top-25 Poll.

Despite Duke easily taking care of business against Wofford, a game in which the Blue Devils did not have point guard Tre Jones, Duke remained at No. 4 in the latest edition of the poll.

Just last week the Wofford Terriers defeated the then No. 17 North Carolina Tar Heels, in Chapel Hill, when the Heels did not have its star point guard Cole Anthony.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs moved up from No. 2 to No. 1 due to the Kansas loss but it was the Ohio State Buckeyes who jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 after defeating then No. 6 Kentucky on a neutral floor, who had already lost to unranked Utah at the beginning of the week.

Louisville stayed at No. 3 while Kansas dropped down to No. 5.

As for the rest of the ACC, the Virginia Cavaliers dropped to No. 16 after its loss at home to South Carolina while the Florida State Seminoles are ranked at No. 17.

The Virginia Tech Hokies were the only other ACC team to receive votes to be included in the Top-25 but the Hokies only saw three votes come their way.

Against teams currently ranked in the Top-25, Duke has won both its games, vs. Kansas at Madison Square Garden and at Michigan State, who currently rank No. 5 and No. 14, respectively.

While the Duke Blue Devils do have an extended break for the holiday season, the Blue Devils will be in action this week against the Brown Bears on Saturday, December 28 with an early tipoff time of 11:30am EST on ESPN2.
