After a long layoff the Duke Basketball team showed no signs of rust in a dominant win over the Wofford Terriers on Thursday night.
As the Duke Blue Devils were gearing up to face the Wofford Terriers on Thursday afternoon, news broke from Jeff Goodman that Tre Jones would not be playing due to a minor foot injury.
Jones was on the bench engaged and enthused as he saw Duke roll over Wofford, a team that just picked up a win along Tobacco Road on Sunday afternoon.

The hot streak did not continue for the Terriers as Duke ran them out of Cameron Indoor Stadium, winning 86-57.
Jordan Goldwire started in Jones’ place and the junior guard showed once again that he is ready for more minutes, finishing his night with eight points, three rebounds, five assists, and one steal.
Duke was led by its sophomore sharpshooter off the bench, Joey Baker, who dropped a career high 22 points on 5-of-7 shooting from 3-point range. As a whole, Baker was 6-of-11 from the floor and made all five of his free throws while adding a rebound and an assist.
Vernon Carey Jr. posted another double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds after seeing his streak of seven straight double-doubles snap in the win over Virginia Tech on December 6.
The only other Blue Devil that reached double figures was Matthew Hurt, who also came off the bench on Thursday night to score 12 points and grab eight rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting.
All nine of the Duke players that were in the main rotation scored in the victory as Justin Robinson and Mike Buckmire saw action later in the game but could not get a shot to drop, although Robinson recorded three blocks in five minutes.
The win improved Duke to 10-1 (1-0) on the season and the Blue Devils will head into another break as the players return home for the Christmas holiday.
Duke will be back in action on Saturday, December 28 against the Brown Bears in Cameron Indoor Stadium with an 11:30am EST tipoff on ESPN2.
