The former Duke Football wide receiver Jamison Crowder found the end zone for the first time this season as the New York Jets fell to the Miami Dolphins.

What could go wrong has gone wrong for the New York Jets this season as the team lost to the winless Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon, 26-18.

At 1-7 on the season, the year seems to be lost and over for New York but on Sunday former Duke Football wide receiver Jamison Crowder found the end zone for the first time this season and in his career as a Jet.

Crowder was tied for the team lead in receptions with eight and targets with nine. He was tied with running back Le’Veon Bell in both categories.

The touchdown from the former Blue Devil put the Jets on the board first and gave New York a 7-0 in the first quarter.

Four of Crowder’s eight receptions came on that opening drive touchdown by the Jets. Jamison Crowder totaled 50 yards on that touchdown drive, coming up with two, third-down catches with one resulting in the touchdown.

Jets quarterback Sam Darnold connected with Crowder on a 3rd & 5 for a 12-yard touchdown to cap off the 11-play, 75 yard drive.

Sunday was the first time Jamison Crowder scored a touchdown since December 9, 2018 when he was a member of the Washington Redskins against the New York Giants.

The 26-year-old wide out has 43 receptions for 405 yards on the season and the one touchdown. Crowder has been targeted 59 times this year.

With the loss the New York Jets drop to 1-7 on the season and with things slipping out of control the Jets will look to rebound against Daniel Jones and the New York Giants next week in the Battle for MetLife Stadium on Sunday, November 10 at 1:00pm EST and the game can be seen on FOX.
