Former Duke Basketball star, Cam Reddish, was able to put Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat on a poster Tuesday night with a vicious slam.

Cam Reddish went viral for the first time in his NBA career on Tuesday night as the Atlanta Hawks took on the Miami Heat.

Early in the fourth quarter Reddish received a pass on the left wing, drove to the basket and rose for a monster dunk over Heat rookie Tyler Herro.

Reddish flushed the dunk and had a little something extra for Herro after the slam, staring him down after the fact.

The dunk sent the social media world into a frenzy.

The Miami Heat were able to defeat the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, 112-97.

Aside from the dunk, Reddish struggled in this game much like he has through the first four game of his NBA career, failing to score more than six points yet. The Norristown, Pennsylvania native was 2-of-10 from the field, missing all of his five attempts from 3-point range.

The No. 10 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft was in the starting lineup and did grab three rebounds and dish out six assists, in addition to his six steals.

Cam Reddish was not the only former Duke Blue Devil in his game as his teammate Jabari Parker also struggled on Tuesday night as did Justise Winslow of the Miami Heat.

Parker played 25 minutes off the bench and finished with 12 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals while shooting 5-of-11 from the field, yet only 1-of-5 from 3-point range.

Winslow started for the Heat and played 30 minutes but after a 1-of-7 shooting performance, only scored two points in addition to his six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Tuesday night was not the first time Cam Reddish got the best of Tyler Herro as the former Blue Devil came on top when the two players met in college as Duke defeated Kentucky 118-84 in the State Farm Champions Classic last season where Reddish scored 22 points compared to Herro’s 14.

With the win, the Atlanta Hawks dropped to 2-2 on the season and will host the Miami Heat, who improved to 3-1, on Thursday, October 31 at 7:00pm EST on TNT.
