The former Duke Basketball star, Cam Reddish, failed to record a field goal in his NBA debut as the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Detroit Pistons.

Cam Reddish was in the starting lineup for the Atlanta Hawks on Opening Night as the team was in Detroit to face the Pistons in its home opener.

Reddish struggled in his first regular season NBA game, but did manage to score his first point at the free throw line, splitting a pair from the charity stripe.

The No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft did not make a field goal in the game, after missing all six of his shots, five from 3-point range.

While Reddish’s shots were not falling, the former Duke Blue Devil made his presence known in other facets of the game as he recorded seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Atlanta was able to defeat the Pistons 117-100 as Reddish logged 21 minutes in the game.

Cam Reddish was not the only former Duke Blue Devil in this game as his teammate, Jabari Parker, put on a show in his first game as an Atlanta Hawk.

The former No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft scored 18 points in 23 minutes off the bench as he also added one rebound to the winning cause.

Parker made 8-of-11 from the field, going 1-of-2 from 3-point range and from the free throw line.

On the other side, Luke Kennard was representing the Blue Devils for the Detroit Pistons and one game removed from a 30-point showing to start the season, the Ohio native wasn’t quite able to match his numbers from the first game of the season.

Against the Hawks, Kennard added 13 points in 31 minutes off the bench, but struggled with his shot, making 3-of-12 from the field and 3-of-9 from 3-point range, in addition to making all four of his free throw attempts.
