Daniel Jones struggles in the rain against Arizona Cardinals as Giants lose
Former Duke Football quarterback, Daniel Jones, struggled in the New Jersey rain as the New York Giants lost to the Arizona Cardinals.
It was a battle of the top two quarterbacks selected in the 2019 NFL Draft; the No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray vs. No. 6 pick Daniel Jones.
Both quarterbacks struggled in a wet and rainy MetLife Stadium on Sunday, but Murray and the Arizona Cardinals were able to come away with the win, 27-21.

Daniel Jones completed 22-of-35 passes for 223 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The former Blue Devil also fumbled three times in the game, losing two of them. Jones rushed four times for 35 yards.
As for Murray, he also struggled, completing 14-of-21 passes for just 104 yards, while rushing 10 times for 28 yards. The Cardinals signal caller did not turn the ball over.
With the win the Arizona Cardinals improved to 3-3-1 on the season.
The New York Giants dropped to 2-5 on the year and are now 2-3 in games that Daniel Jones has started this season, with three straight losses.
Jones did get some of his impactful offensive weapons back that he did not have a week ago against the New England Patriots.
Pro-Bowl running back Saquon Barkley returned to the lineup as well we tight end Evan Engram. Wide receiver Sterling Shepard was still sidelined with a concussion.
Engram was a non-factor with one reception for six yards while Barkley had 18 rushes for 72 yards and a touchdown in addition to three receptions for eight yards.
Through six games of his rookie season, Daniel Jones is completing 61.1% of his passes with six passing touchdowns and seven interceptions. The rookie has fumbled six times, losing five, this season.
New York will get back on the road next week as the team faces the Detroit Lions on Sunday, October 27 at 1:00pm EST from Ford Field as the game can be seen on FOX.
