The Duke Football team will try and get a huge road victory against the Virginia Cavaliers to take a hold on the ACC Coastal Division.

The Duke Blue Devils will be looking to take down the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday afternoon as the two ACC Coastal teams battle to take a stranglehold on the division.

Four teams share a 2-1 record in the ACC Coastal Division; Duke, Virginia, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh.

Things seem to be going in the opposite direction for Duke and Virginia as the Blue Devils are coming off of an impressive win at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Cavaliers have lost two games in a row against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Miami Hurricanes.

Saturday afternoon will feature two of the best quarterbacks in the ACC and two of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the ACC.

Duke’s Quentin Harris and Virginia’s Bryce Perkins are at their best when they are effectively running the football because it opens up holes for their running backs and the passing game becomes more effective through the play action.

For the Blue Devils to win this game, it must control the clock, win the turnover battle, and limit the explosive plays from Perkins and the Virginia offense.

Harris and running back Deon Jackson will be huge in terms of controlling the clock as the two are the best offensive players Duke has, but also tight end Noah Gray should factor in to the Blue Devils’ game-plan.

History tells us that Duke might not win this game as Virginia has won the last four games in this meeting.

Kickoff between Duke and Virginia is set for 3:30pm EST on Saturday, October 19 from Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia. Fans will be able to see the game on the ACC Network.
