The former Blue Devil completed 23-of-36 passes for 336 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing four times for 28 yards and two touchdowns. Jones did not throw an interception but did lose two fumbles on the afternoon.

Trailing 28-10 at halftime. the comeback victory by the Giants was the team’s largest come from behind win in 49 years.

To make his debut more difficult, Jones was without star running back Saquon Barkley who left the game in the first half and did not return due to an ankle injury.

Daniel Jones showed extreme confidence in wide receiver Sterling Shepard and tight end Evan Engram who both eclipsed 100 yards receiving and seven and six receptions, respectively.

While New York Giant fan will certainly look past their “booing” and displeasure with the selection of Jones with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft as Daniel Jones will make his MetLife Stadium debut next Sunday on September 29 against the Washington Redskins at 1:00pm EST.
