Jamison Crowder featured and shines in debut with New York Jets
The former Duke Football standout wide receiver, Jamison Crowder, shined in his debut with the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon against the Buffalo Bills.
For the first time in his NFL career, former Duke Football wide receiver Jamison Crowder played in an NFL regular season game not as a Washington Redskin.
The former Blue Devil dawned the Green and White of the New York Jets for the first time on Sunday afternoon as the Jets hosted AFC East rival, the Buffalo Bills.

Jets quarterback Sam Darnold seemed to fall in love with Crowder, targeting him a team-high 17 times with the second highest target being Le’Veon Bell with nine.
As for other wide receivers on the Jets, Robby Anderson, Quincy Enunwa, and Josh Bellamy has a combined five receptions for 34 yards on a total of 11 targets.
Jamison Crowder was able to catch 14 of those targets for 99 yards but failed to reach the end zone in the Jets’ heart-breaking 17-16 loss to Buffalo in Week 1.
The number of receptions and targets were career highs for Crowder who played his first four seasons in the NFL with the Washington Redskins.
The fourth round pick of Washington in 2015 NFL Draft also had one rush for four yards in the Jets’ loss.
While at Duke, Crowder was a two-time All-ACC section in 2013 and 2014 while accumulating 3,641 yards and 23 receiving touchdowns in his four seasons at Duke.
The 5-foot-9 slot receiver signed with the New York Jets shortly after the 2019 NFL league year started in March and inked a three-year contract worth $28.5 million with $17 million guaranteed.
Jamison Crowder and the New York Jets will take center stage in the NFL world next week on Monday Night Football as the team host the Cleveland Browns on Monday, September 16 at 8:15pm EST and the game can be seen on ESPN.
