Alabama’s powerful offense to take no Blue Devil prisoners in Atlanta
The Alabama offense will take no prisoners when the Crimson Tide take on the Duke Football team Saturday in Atlanta.
The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is known for churning out elite NFL talent.
While the Tide have made its name in the NFL on the defensive side of the ball, Nick Saban may have two Top-5 picks this season on the offensive side of the ball.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy lead the charge for the Crimson Tide and with one year working together under their belts, the duo could become more explosive this season.
That all starts on Saturday when Alabama faces the Duke Blue Devils in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game.
Last season, Tagovailoa completed 69.0% of his passes for a total of 3,966 yards and 43 touchdowns passes with just six interceptions. The junior from Hawaii was also able to rush for five touchdowns en route to an SEC Championship.
As for his top target, Jeudy racked in 1,315 yards last season in just 68 receptions while finding the end zone 14 times for the Crimson Tide.
While Jeudy draws most of the attention of defense, his counterpart Henry Ruggs III is also a very dangerous threat. The 6-foot junior wide out only caught 46 passes last season but was able to total 741 yards and 11 touchdown receptions.
One of the reasons why Tagovailoa is a Heisman Trophy candidate is because of the talented receiving corps he’s throwing to.
Jeudy and Ruggs are the big names but an under-the-radar player like DeVonta Smith as the ability to burn a defense with 42 receptions for 693 yards and six touchdowns last season.
However, it was reported earlier in the week that Smith could miss some time in this game due to a suspension for a violation of team rules.
The Duke Blue Devils defense will certainly have its hands full from the opening kickoff on Saturday, August 31 when they meet the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide from the Mercades Benz Stadium at 3:30pm EST on ABC.
