Former Duke Basketball superstars Jayson Tatum and Brandon Ingram will be featured in the ‘My Career’ mode of NBA2K20.

Jayson Tatum is currently in Australia with Team USA preparing for the FIBA World Cup and Brandon Ingram is preparing for his upcoming season with the New Orleans Pelicans but the two former Blue Devils were in for a surprise on Monday.

It was revealed that both players will be featured in the ‘My Career’ mode of NBA2K20.

The game teamed up with LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Springhill Entertainment to produce the new version of the game-play as it stars Idris Elba, Rosario Dawson, Thomas Middleditch, Erine Hudson, and Lamorne Morris.

The official trailer of the ‘My Career’ mode was officially released on all platforms on Monday afternoon.

Tatum is shown working out with the main character of the mode in Tatum’s very own high school of Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jayson Tatum had his No. 22 retired at Chaminade in 2018.

The current Boston Celtic was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and has averaged 14.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game in his two seasons in Boston.

Entering his third season in the NBA, Tatum is rated as a 85 overall in NBA2K20.

Brandon Ingram was also featured in the ‘My Career’ trailer as the former Blue Devil was seen in some type of video shoot room along side current New Orleans Pelican teammate Lonzo Ball and former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kyle Kuzma.

Ingram was traded from the Lakers to the Pelicans in the blockbuster deal that sent Anthony Davis to L.A.

The 21-year-old will be entering his fourth season in the NBA, but clearly just his first with New Orleans.

In his three seasons with the Lakers, Ingram averaged 13.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.

Like Tatum, Ingram is also a 85 overall in NBA2K20.

Rating have been slowly coming out for the game as the trio of Duke rookies found out their ratings in their first ever video game appearance last week.

There is a NBA2K20 demo, that will be released on Wednesday, August 31 at 3:00am EST that will allow gamers to start their own ‘My Career’ player and all progress will carry over to when the full version of the game is releases on Friday, September 6.
